Lydia's Love Mission
To celebrate the lives of children while providing positive opportunities and experiences, creating a better tomorrow.
About Lydia and Connor
Our organization was founded in June of 2011 in memory of Lydia Marie Greer and Connor Ralls.
Jake and Daphne Greer's daughter Lydia was a five year old little girl who loved to help others and was full of love and thoughtfulness. Lydia had a vibrant personality who brought joy to everyone she touched, living life to the fullest. Lydia loved life, singing, dancing and making people smile. Even at her young age, Lydia inspired those around her to give back and help those in need. On July 16, 2008, Lydia passed away as a result of a car accident.
Clarke and Jamie Ralls' son Connor died in infancy on August 23, 2005, just two short days after he was born. Because Connor never got the chance to play sports or other extracurricular activities during his short life, through his memory we hope to offer a second chance to children who would love to play sports, music or other activities but don’t have the financial ability to do so.

Jamie Ralls & Daphne Greer
We are childhood best friends who both suffered the loss of a child. After making it through our losses, life has taken on new meaning.
We both felt the need to spend our love on other children who don't have the opportunities or stability that other kids have. Starting this organization was a way to honor our children no longer with us and to keep their spirit alive while also instilling a love and commitment for community service for other young children. Our goal is to make sure every child feels special and celebrated and to recognize the value of a child’s life. Through our unique experiences, both of us have learned that life is a precious gift and should never be taken for granted. |
Shelter Parties – Salem, Oregon
Birthday celebrations are held monthly at local shelters. The parties include decorations, cake, ice cream, presents for the birthday kids, goody-bags for everyone and entertainment. This program ensures that every child gets to experience a birthday party, as many children go without during difficult times. We aim to make sure every child feels special on their special day and recognize the value of a child's life and importance of celebrating milestones during childhood. We strive to bring hope and happiness to these children creating positive memories.
Birthday in a Box – Lakeview, Oregon
Our birthday in a box program delivers boxes filled with all essentials needed to have a birthday party. Decorations, balloons, cake, gifts, goody bags and more are delivered to the birthday child as requested by the parents.

Connor's Chance
This program grants little wishes to homeless and low income children. Whether it be a new bicycle, or opportunity to participate in athletics, music, art, dance, other extracurricular activities, this enables them to fulfill a dream that is important to them, giving them the chance to do things that they otherwise would not be able to do, or obtain things that their families couldn't afford. This program builds self esteem and gives hope to these children who often are not given a chance. This program offers our donors an opportunity to support local children living in the Willamette Valley.
